The Community Outreach & Resilience Approaches Lab, led by Dr. Victor Buitron, is a research group within the Center for Children and Families (CCF) and the Psychology Department at FIU. The CORAL group is dedicated to advancing the field of developmental clinical psychology by investigating risk factors for internalizing problems and self-injurious thoughts and behavior. We are committed to developing and testing psychosocial interventions that enhance the mental health and well-being of youth and families, with emphases on underserved populations and community outreach.
